We are in downtown Vancouver now, right next to one of the party sites (Vancouver Live). Pretty loud. Especially when Canada beat Norway 8-0 in the first round of men's hockey today.
Sounds like fun and I kind of wish I was there. Seeing the images of Vancouver with all the Olympic stuff going on makes me want to be a part of it. Then again, I'm kind of glad I'm not there for the crowds, traffic restrictions, and security.

Luckily we do get some decent hockey coverage here in the US. The Canadian men's hockey game was on CNBC, usually the NBC cable financial channel. It was a great game to watch for the excitement and to finally see our squad on the ice. Poor Luongo must have fallen asleep for most of the game. I have my Luongo Olympic jersey with me as I type this. When it comes to times like this I AM CANADIAN.
