just got my SAV yesterday. Per dealership, the lamp switch replacement was denied (but approved the steering wheel issue). The dealer had someone checked the said switch (apparently this person were doing miscellaneous repairs i.e. trims , etc) and was told by my SA that he did something to hide the white stuff (deteriorating part of the knob) - in other words, did some "improvise". Whoa, for a 56K car, all they can do was made some cosmetic repair, lol (at least the dealer had made something free of charge after the BMWNA denied authorization to replace the whole switch knob).
