That's exactly what I was thinking... surface roads only just like a vespa.

Actually I was more thinking I could use that engine/transmission for a atv sized homemade off road buggy, with the axle outputs going to front and rear differentials for double gear reduction. It would top out at 20-25 mph but be able to pull a stump! (specialty vehicle for use at the hunting camp) And at a price of only $600 it is cheaper than my TV and I won't feel too bad doing that... replaceable/disposable vehicle!
