Hi folks....

Am putting together a AVIC-D1 for my X. Having a good local intstall. D1, McIntosh 6 ch amp, Dynaudio, Pioneer TV tuner, DVD changer, ipod interface, ARC 10" sub.
I read a few users here using the D1.

Any comments or suggestions i should be aware of (from people whove intstalled this HU) that would save time, labor $$$ on the install?
Building a custom Sub box in place of the stocker. Remoter controler for the steeringwheel controls.

How would one reset the cluster readouts after i yank the stock Nav?? (Clock etc)

Also, i will be saving and selling the complete stock DSP HU and amp, subs, speakers, CD changer, etc, everything we pull out minus the wiring harness. Anyone interested in this as a whole unit?
