don't feel so bad for $200 for key. VW wants $280!!!!! You can at least program a BMW key yourself, I did when I changed a battery (XOutpost rocks!!!) in mine. You can not program a VW key either. I was amazed that BMW and Merc are 200 to 220 and VW Jetta 280 plus labor.

I key is something I would go to the stealership for though.
