The new company, Tele Atlas, sent me this reply when I asked about a map disk for a BMW X5 DVD based nav system:


Dear Sir,

We do support this navigation system . The brand might make use of our mapping material but we do not sell products which have the USA mapped on them.We have mapped USA, but the producer of the system has not opted to develop a product with these maps. It of course depends on which system you have built-in. If it is a Blaupunkt system or a VDO system, we can guarantee you that there is no USA product on the market.
