Let me just say I agree emphatically with your passion regarding the subject.


#1 Nope not interested in the government "RUN EVERYTHING" and I'm not buying
the argument because there's no proof that RUNNING EVERYTHING" is what this is all about.

This particular bill while not the "Single Payer System" Obama and Nancy Pelosi wanted which would have "RUN EVERYTHING" does place the federal government in charge of several aspects of the process in terms of regulation. Here is where you either fall on the side of government control of private industry or a free market system. The government has shown they can't run themselves let alone something as big as healthcare. It's plain and simple. Competition breeds quality and brings down prices. Regulation and consolidation reduces quality and will cost more in the long run.

#2 I agree we all need good jobs but good jobs will not provide good health care
as long as the insurance industry is in control of health care.

We have the best Health Care in the World. Do you really think that by the government getting involved with regulations our care will get better? Just look at the country's who have gone this route. Care suffered which is a result of rationed health care.

#3 Like all Bills of course it's full of pork. No surprise there. However the fundamentals
for health care reform is in the package that's what counts.

Pork is waste and in a time where we are passing all this debt on to our childrens children we need to stand up and say no. The reason we have so much pork is because too many people like yourself justify the bill with the pork to get what little is left inside the bill. Your #3 is why ALL bills have pork.

#4 You're wrong I don't trust anyone in government to spend a trillion dollars on a very expensive
band-aid. I also don't trust the republicans who are being paid by the insurance industry to stop
30 million people from getting health care by taking it "STEP BY STEP"
for the next 10 years until they get it their way.

Quick...You're smarter than this. Do you really believe Democrats are not being paid by these same health care lobbyists? Newsflash...Both parties are being lobbied and paid by special interest. More reason not to place them in charge of our health care system.

Secondly, those so called 30 million people will have health care provided by the tax payer in the form of taxes. Sure...In that 30 million are families who work hard and play by the rules and ended up being caught up in this terrible economy. Truth is a larger number of that 30 million are on welfare and have been most of their life. Millions spend what money they get on drugs and alcohol and have criminal records.

#5 I'm not sure what the health care bill is gonna fix. I just want someone to
show some guts stop talking and get the Job done. Push it thru. It won't be
any worse than what it is right now.

It will get worse. Just look at the cost and realize we already have a HUGE deficit. Add the estimated Trillion dollars to that and tell me it can't get worse. Besides...When has a government estimate for a program been correct?

I don't think anyone really knows whats going to happen more reason not to spend a trillion dollars on an experiment when we can least afford the expense. but I would
be willing to bet that as time goes along the bill will change from it's
present form and become refined by both parties. I'm just tired of all the
talk.

The Democrats need to stand up for what they believe in and move the
process along and the Republicans need to contribute more than lip service
or get out of the way and stop obstructing the process.

These people have demonstrated that they are like little kids.
If you don't play the game the way I want then I'm gonna take
my ball and go home. I say Fine "GO HOME".......

Health Care is already available for those who can't afford insurance. There are government programs already in place. Medi-Cal, Medi-Caid, Family Pact, ect, ect, ect. There are community health centers who have what is called a "Sliding Scale" You pay for services based on your ability to pay. Those who can't pay anyting don't.
