I've been trying to test drive a VW Golf TDI; I really, really like the X3 but if my father really wants it back after I graduate, I don't see why not. The X3 is too thirsty in the city (20 US mpg or 12l /100km is what I'm seeing) for my fuel consumption standards. Kinda worried that my mountain bike won't fit inside the Golf though. However from an accounting/practicality standpoint, the Golf TDI makes a lot of sense, if a bit less exciting than the X3.
I guess I'll do the drive down to SC if the weather works out well (at this point, it isn't looking good

). If not, then I'll prob just spend spring break painting the house and writing up cover letters.
