I debated even getting the diesel...The X5M (fully configured) would have been just over $100k if memory serves...I just couldn't justify this (for my wife) as the car will rarely get driven over 75 mph; nor, for that matter will the acceleration (of the diesel) ever get tapped...My wife has a light-foot...

Between the money factor & residual of the X5M (zero incentives), it just didn't make sense for her...Don't confuse that with "I" didn't want it
