My car was at the dealer last week, and of course, they cant replicate the issue, all sound went back, even after a day i took it home...
I even tried turning off Bluetooth on my iPhone, same result, the sound will just cut off and stay off... so i dont think it has to do with Bluetooth connection...

I had no "sounds" at all at the time of delivery, my dealer took it back for a few days for re-programing which seemed to work for about a week. The fix according to BMW was to replace the amp and some wiring....it has been fine ever since, 3 months now.
