The two Seadoo watercraft you mentioned originally weigh around 750 lbs, typically. The 15' Seadoo you show here weights around 1500 lbs. Add the weight of a trailer, a few hundred pounds. You shouldn't even require brakes. I towed over 4000 lbs with my 3.0 X5, without any difficulty. It was rated for 5000 lbs, your 2004 model is rated for 6000 lbs. You do need to be aware that you are towing when driving, and not drive as if you have no load on, particularly with respect to cruising speed, and long downhill runs.
You don't need to worry until you get up to this level;
