Thank u very much guys for all your input, I took it to the dealership and got an estimate for $5.500. The guy said that they will get the insurance company to cover it because it was their fault and if anything they will take care of it. Also took it to another shop and they kind of said the same thing and that usually with bmw's its 95% sure that parts have to be original and no off the market or anything like that. Im somewhat more relieved but until I dont see the X they way it was I wont be able to have a good night sleep
