Anyway, I bought a new TCU from Tom at EAS, and he was great! Sent me exactly the right item, and I saved almost half of what the dealership would have charged. Now, my Bluetooth works fine, my Voice Recognition works, and the phonebook transfers right over. The only thing left is for me to take the car in sometime to get the dealership to re-activate my BMW Assist (some coding I can't do at home).
So, kudos to both EAS and my local guys!

Glad to help.
No dealer visit is necessary, simply get the numbers on the label and give that to your CSR when talking to Assist.
