Ahh mann, such a headache. I hate it! People can be sooo loww. Luckily things are working out in your favor with your insurance. I'll never forget this one time, I just got my 06' 4.8is, it was about two months after I got it. I went to the mall and saw an open spot right in front. I pulled in but I was skeptical about it since I always parked so far away with my X. I realized the person next to me was leaving and the spot to my right was open. I figured I'd wait and see who parks next to me since I knew it wasn't going to be long. Some stupid young girl driving with two guys whips her little old jetta into the spot and the guy that gets out of the back hits my car with his door. I couldn't believe it, I was heated. I jumped out of my car and approached these kids while they were walking away. I snapped so quick as they acted like their shit didnt stink and kept saying they didnt do anything. Luckily, this girl's rear door opened up right onto the rear fender flare that the 4.8is has. Since it is that plastic-like material it didnt leave a mark, I was so surprised and happy but it still got me pissed. I have always parked far far away from everything ever since. I felt like spitting all over this girl's windshield but figured karmas a bitch.... and remembered my mom's saying, "if you lay down with the pigs your gonna get dirty." haaha!
