I also think your problem isn't phone related, but some intermittent audio connection. I've been blown off (for lack of a better term) by dealers more times than I can count with idiot excuses like that including exact ones about the "wrong phone" even when the phone was working perfectly (perfect bluetooth connection, stored phone book, etc)
