On our 2010 750i and 2010 M6...we have to push the Start/Stop button 2 times when parking/getting out. If you stop the car, put it in Park and hit the S/S button only one time, the engine stops, but all the electronics in the car keep running. Upon pushing the S/S button a 2nd time, the steering wheel raises, and all electric goodies go off.
