It may be ridiculous to keep a 60K car while you are jobless. However, there are going to be NO maintenance costs (well besides tires) You're going to get the oil changes, wipers, brakes, everything included with maintenance, so really it is not that bad of a position. Plus as he said above, you are going to take a bath in selling a car this quickly..you know what they say, "as soon as you drive out of the showroom, you lose 10k"
