RedRockin is on a distinguished road
I think you may want to look beyond just brands and names and decide which type of tires you want. Each provides different experiences, at different prices, different warranties (don't know how warranties work in India). Many X5ers want High Performance. These may be a bit stiffer and usually are made of a softer compound which may wear faster depending on the roads. My X5 is a month old, leased and I expect to replace tires for lease return. So, I am pulling my RFs to store for lease return and getting the General Grabber HTS (Highway All Season). I don't know in which part of India you are living but it is likely you may not need All Seasons. Tire Rack - Your performance experts for tires and wheels is a great research resource. Look at tires, sizes, reviews, ratings, warranties, etc. Don't know which you may be able to get in India but here are some user ratings by category (pretty sure these are all non-RFs):
Ultra High Performance All-Season: Consumer Survey Results By Category

Crossover/SUV Touring All-Season: Consumer Survey Results By Category

Highway All-Season: Consumer Survey Results By Category

Here is a page with links to research on various categories. http://www.tirerack.com/tires/surveyresults/index.jsp I suggest you start here and really spend some time reading around within this site. There is a lot of info. Obviously, you are somewhat constrained by what is available in India but it sounds like you have a lot of research to do to learn about categories, etc and then see which tires you can get after you have chosen a few that really address your needs, likes, etc.

Good luck and hope you find something you like.
