I still don't quite understand why you used loctite blue (sorry I am not familiar with it) for torquing purpose. If I am not wrong, loctite blue is a kind of sealant applied on screw threads to prevent it from possible leaking. So loctite blue doesn't really help you torque the screws to 7 ft-lbs. Is this correct?
