If you purchased a proper retrofit hardness then everything is plug and play and very simple.

The retrofit instructions show the entire wiring harness with wire colours and functions and is quite clear.

If you purchased a full factory harness (sounds like you did) then the job is much much harder.

Verify what harness you have. If you have factory harness, swap it for the retrofit harness. Otherwise, you have a nightmare on your hands...
