This isn't the case in Maryland. There is a placard on every hospital wall that states you can not be thrown out or not allowed care because of lack of insurance. Also, if you work for a small business, in most cases, no pre-existing condition keeps you from coverage. So please someone enlighten me as to what states do not apply these practices.
