You are correct.

I started by removing the plastic frame in the front. I dislodged the bottom first then the right side, then top. The painted cover is not too bad.

Getting it back on was a bit more of a pain that removal.

Initially you have to be a little forceful to get the thing started, but then its easy. Once you got a side open, just go slow, and don't force it, because you will break the plastic clips.
