2002 X5 4.6 Esoril Blue Value?

2002 X5 4.6 Value
Hey Guys,

Just checked out a 2002 Estoril Blue X5 4.6 w/ 80K Miles and Navigation. Wondering what you guys things is the value of it.

Was not garage kept but paint still in decent condition.
Left Right Rear Fender Bender was fixed ~1G
The only maintenance that has been done is Oil Changes.
Needs new rear break pads.
Owner smokes inside the car so the smell is noticeable.

During a test drive, I put the Transmission into Sport Mode and then I put it back into Normal Mode. The Transmission did not shift to a higher gear (to reduce engine power). Is that normal behaviour? I thought it would shift into a higher gear to reduce the RPMS since I was not in Sport Mode. Is this a sign of bad Transmission?

Someone explained to me that this is normal - so maybe this is not an issue?

What do you think fair market value is? I was thinking 13-14 based on lack of documentation/maintenance.

What would I have to be worried about fixing in the near future? Any major replacement intervals at 60/80/100K that would have been needed?

Thanks again.
