Well, if you're going into a muddy part where traction will be an issue, press the DSC button to allow more wheel spin before intervention then just keep the RPMs up and don't let off. You want some speed to give you enough momentum to help get you past it, but don't want to be going too fast naturally. Oversimplified summary: press the button, press the gas, hold on!
