if your using the jack to just jack up one side and not the whole truck I think it would surfice. However, I would err on the side of caution and use a jack that has the capacity to raise the vehicles 2150 kgs. Also, it is safer to use jack stands under the vehicle even when changing tires rather than relying on the jack to bear the full weight. Jacks do fail. A floor jack is much safer and better than a scissor jack especially if you're raising the vehicle from the rear pumpkin or front center jack point. I wouldn't trust a scissor jack for that task. Of course this is just my opinion.
