When I've read the huge prices people pay in other countries, I wondered if that was possible. But don't you have to pay a tax on the other end when you bring in a pre-owned product into foreign countries? What does shipping/insurance cost?

First I heard of fleetrates.com but it's intriguing. It looks like they work with a network of dealers across the US that upload their inventory daily to fleetrates.com. Is fleetrates.com the "mother" dealer or broker? Because it seems they are brokering all sorts of products but are not necessarily franchised by BMW (example) to sell their products. How do they order new cars - through one of their network dealers?
