The radio has no affect on the TCU or ULF. So, double-check all of the wiring around the telephone module. I have a hunch that you disrupted something while upgrading the radio.

There is no coding for the radio. I am certain of this. However, as Kiwi says, and you are doing, set the area. Still, I can not imagine any way that the Area would affect the TCU. That just enables certain features-- the fact that Sirius works suggests that Area is already set to USA.
