I too had this issue after purchasing the X. I also had problems with the car decelarating down hills. Yay... I had to press the gas to go down hills or it would slow down. Had the software updated before warranty was up. This helped the downshifting down hills, but not for the lurch. I can almost anticipate the lurch now and release the gas before accelrating too quickly so the lurch is less severe. Not sure if this has anything to do with it? I also notice that I have no lurch when adding Chevron Techron Feul System cleaner to the tank. It's the bottle that cost $12/treats 20gals. I put it in every 5k miles. Anyway, I try to make complete stops when ever I can to try and avoid this lurch. This is another PITA reason to trade-in my car!
