After dealing with all the lights plus having no speedo off and on for a few months now, it is finally all worked out. Had all four speed sensors replaced. Also had the ABS module rebuilt for $140 by a company on eBay.

After the module was put back on all that I had to do was clear the P0500 code for the speed sensors and everything is back to good.

Just wanted to share some actual good news about an X5 experience!
