I think it's interesting that it looks like Continental Automotive produced this DVD for BMW (and based it on Navteq data). The two preceding versions had "Siemens VDO Automotive" instead (also with Navteq as the supplier).

So I wonder if BMW will have Continental produce the next version (which may or may not be based on Navteq source)?

This train of thought may not be valid but I would be interested in hearing if anyone else has any other ideas...

Edit: On another forum, someone said "I have been told by BMWNA that Tele-Atlas will be supplier for all Future Map updates including old DVD based NAV. Tele-Atlas as provider, told me release of updated discs is in the control of BMW."
