I purchased mine in January in MO. It also has a salvage title. I was about to walk away till I asked to see the history. Turns out it was simply a lemon law buy back from California. California laws force manufacturers to buy back cars for the smallest thing! mine had a window actuator go out twice and California said buy back. Don't know why salvage title in MO but there is nothing in the history as far as wrecks or flood damage.
Within the first month I replaced the tires, brakes, oil, spark plugs, and all filters. Put in one treatment of injector cleaner (BMW) and have only had 91or 93 Octane fuel in her tank.
Working like a charm..... Need the links replaced now tough :-)
