I had an 04 4.4 and loved it, if I hadn't had the need to have 7 seats, I would have never sold it. Don't EVER buy a Land Rover, what a piece of SHIT!

I have been looking for quite some time, there are a great many I6's for the right prices, but really want the V8! I don't know if its worth going to the 4.8, I have muscle cars for tracking and touring, but, I drive 30K a year and need something that holds me in the car like the sport seats that are in the X5.

I also would like to upgrade the exhaust, if it breaths better, it runs more efficient and performs better! Beside I want it to sound a little better!

If anyone knows of anyone who has an 06 X5 4.4 that has been well maintained, let them know I am interested.
