I have a X5 2004 (made oct 2003 i think) with dvd-navi.

I have tried to burn the v32 software to a dvd and install it but it does not even load, the bmwwith stripes (splash screen ) comes up, then a few seconds later it starts over and again...

Do I HAVE to use a cd to make the OS installation?

Next question. I have downloaded a few maps. The one I have in the car is called "HIGH" 2004-1 and the files on disc is about 2,5 GB.

I have found several others online.

WHich one fits my dvd? the one called HIGH is for duallayer dvd, (well over 6GB)

Is the maps just different detailed ? And all work for my navi?
