When you do decide to change batt, ~$100 and 20 mins of easy DIY will
get it done.


My only thought on "when" to change batteries out, is after 4 or 5 years,
most batteries, esp in Xs or, in m'cycles, are on borrowed time. Thus, I
would rather change them out in my garage, on my time, not out on the
road. YMMV.

And, a good long, low amp charge on that new battery, does wonders for
the new battery's performance and longevity, imo.
