That's not right, It could be the nav unit is not powering down and this keeps the HU on...

Cutting the power to the nav unit is not normally a good idea, as it can cause problems.

But it may be an idea to try disconnecting it and seeing if it fixes the problem.

You will need to change the blue plug from the nav to the TV (so that the menu works).
