my X5 applied the brakes and dropped to 4th gear at 90 mph on the fast lane of a busy highway .
it dropped to 70mph very quickly and had very little power available as I desperately tried to aviod getting rear ended .
a faulty wheel speed sensor caused the malfunction .
surely the dipshit computer programmers can do better ?
