es, it may be trying to load colour OS.
But if an OS is loaded, you can talk to it with NavCoder

Power it up (on the workbench if needed) and et it try and read a OS CD.
Let it keep trying for an hour or so, sometimes it takes a long time!

Make sure your CDs you are using are good and have low error rates - measure them! Burn at the lowest speed the CD supports (do not burn at 1x!)
