Make sure that you put new clamps on too! The common cause of this problem is that the OEM clamp isn't holding the hose on tight enough, causing the leak. Replacing the OEM clamp with a worm gear style clamp will allow you to tighten it better, and likely seal off the leak. I found it easier to move the clamp down the hose, rather than to try and remove it completely.
