I'm considering buying a 2006 3.0i with 41k miles. It's a CPO, pretty much fully loaded. But the more I read about e53's, the more I hear about electrical nightmares. I'm very excited about this car. I just don't want to end up with a vehicle that's in the shop more than it's on the road.

Anyone have tips on precautions I can take to avoid these same issues? Is this even possible? (Apologize if I'm repeating a question from previous posts).
