There is no reset required on the brake pad warning light. If you replace the sensor, the light goes out. If you replace the sensor and the light doesn't go out, it indicates an open circuit, either the new sensor is faulty or the wiring harness was not connected to the sensor correctly. Did they replace both sensors, the front and the rear?
