Thanks jst 2878 I think you nailed it. I went to the differant threads and it sounds like the problem. I'm ordering the parts today along with replacing the hoses and probably other cooling system parts, water pump, sensor etc. The X has 96k on it so it's time. I'll get it dismantled this weekend.
