So how is this any different than NASCAR where many white families mortgage the ranch in order to race cars? Sounds like it is a product of each environment. Stereotypically speaking then, black kids in grow up playing basketball because they can't afford golf clubs and country club fees and white country kids grow up racing cars, gocarts, dirtbikes, wrenching on old cars etc. Yet, there are many programs for the advancement of minorities, yet not that many for whites. Like I said, seems unfair.

If there aren't as many white players in basketball, then maybe we need to have a "special" program implemented that aims to get white player percentages up over the next few years. Also, maybe teams should have to invite a white player to try out for the team before thay can draft/sign monority player. Seems fair to me.
