We got the Kenmore HE3t front-loading W&D about 3-4 years ago. They have been fantastic. Best we have had, ever. If you think you might have a little PNG or two soon, it would definitely be worthwhile. Of course, if you think kids is several years away, get the cheaper version, use them for a few years, and then upgrade to the newest & best at that time.
