TheX5 is on a distinguished road
My wife has a Cayenne GT2, so I have driving experience in the Cayenne (as well as the current turbo and turbo S) albeit not the new turbo.

One of my complaints about the current Cayenne was that I didn't like the tech/interior as much as the X5. That is the reason I bought up the interior of the Panamera as it is pretty much identical to the new Cayenne interior. My point was not to say that it would in anyway drive like the Cayenne - obviously 2 very different vehicles

I was not at all clear about this in my original post and I apologize

What is the point of my post? Basically to stimulate discussion. I think it is good to discuss the X5 in context of the competition and the new Cayenne is definitely competition (Autospies had a decent post about this very topic).

Also, perhaps others have gone down the same path as I have, and have reached a different conclusion. I think there are a lot of folks with thoughtful opinions on this board & I would love to hear their thoughts and perspective.

As an aside, If you know where I can go test drive a Turbo Cayenne today, I'd be happy for the pointer!
