Has anyone had any problem using portable nav systems in their X5 due to the type of glass used? I have an 06 X5 and am planning on buying a Garmin Nuvi 350.

I ask because I was told by the local toll road operator that we would have to have a bumper mounted transponder due to the type of windscreen used in the X5. Just wondering if this will cause problems for a nav system as well.
