Simon, yours sounds like it is freezing up. I'd get a thermometer to stick in the vents when running it to see if it is getting too cold. It shouldn't really blow colder than about 36 degrees. That can be caused by having a hair too low refrigerant causing the low side pressure to be pulled too low. And I usually leave the recirc on auto, let it decide when it needs to be on inside air vs outside air. (unless I'm driving by something that stinks that is)
