i have already replaced the alternator once about 35K miles ago. i guess is could be going again but when i tested the voltage with the car running with my meter it read 13.85, i would have liked it to read a bit higher, around 14+ but 13.85 is pretty good. i actually didn't test it after i cleaned the connections. i should do that. also i didn't clean the crankshaft sensor connection. i know i'm delaying the inevitable of bringing it to a dealer / mechanic, but while i still have some things to try i will.
