Most of the times these things are a PITA if you use a phone not specified as supported.

Can't comment on your particular phone, but the amount of posts I see about "I bought a phone that wasn't supported and it's not supported!!111" is pretty high.

I think there is a blackberry thread a couple of posts below this one where some success is reported after an update.
