Just showing that I buy what makes sense for my individual needs.
I really shopped around when I wanted a new phone as my contract was over with sprint for some time and I could have gone with anyone, but found the features I wanted most in a phone on the samsung moment and the better reliability, prices and coverage (in my area) with the sprint network.
On the same note if you look in the top drawer of my toolbox you will find tools from snap-on, matco, mac, cornwell, craftsman and even some harbor freight. I don't just automatically buy into
Snap-on in the best of the best like many techs do, I look at which tool will perform better for my needs.
So in my belief you can not call the iphone 4g the best smart phone. You may call it the best for your needs, but it is not the best for my needs by far. If the reception drops to half when you hold it, the screen gets yellow stains for no reason, no physical keyboard and the service carrier is spotty in my area and it adds up to a no go.
