I bought this kit back in 2005 not long after getting my old 2005 X5.
It's the Thule Evolution 1600 cargo box. It opens both ways, the box is lockable and I have both keys for the barrel locks. Additionally, I bought the crossbars AND the wind guard for the X5 as well. I bought this in the spring of 2005, used it maybe 4 times, and when then X5 was returned at lease-end, it's been sitting in the garage since 2007. I paid well over
$500 for all this back in 2005, and it's still all in excellent condition. I want to sell all of this for
$325. One catch - I'm not shipping it - you need to pick it up.
The location is central NJ near Princeton. I can't stress enough that you need to take the whole kit as well for 1 reason - you need that wind guard because the whistle from air turbulence around those bars is pretty annoying.
